COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
Objective:
Deploy full chili flavor with zero reinforcements needed — just meat, water (or broth), and your Fire Mission blend.
STANDARD ISSUE CHILI (Serves 6–8)
You’ll Need:
• 1 lb ground beef, turkey, or venison
• 1 medium onion, diced (optional for texture)
• 3–4 Tbsp Fire Mission – Chili Command Blend
• 1 (15 oz) can crushed or diced tomatoes
• 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce or 1½ cups homemade base
• 1 (15 oz) can beans (optional – kidney, black, or pinto)
• 1 cup water or broth (adjust for thickness)
FIELD INSTRUCTIONS
1) In a large pot or Dutch oven, brown meat over medium heat (about 5–7 minutes).
2) Drain any excess fat (optional — leave some for richer flavor).
3) Stir in 3–4 Tbsp of Fire Mission Blend and coat meat evenly.
4) Add tomato products and water or broth.
5) Bring to a low boil, then reduce heat to a simmer.
6) Simmer uncovered for 30–45 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened and flavors are blended.
7) Taste and adjust thickness with more water or intensity with another pinch of Fire Mission.
OPTIONAL “FIELD MODS”
• Add diced jalapeño or chipotle for extra kick.
• Stir in 1 Tbsp brown sugar or a splash of bourbon for sweetness and depth.
• Mix ½ cup beer or coffee for richer, darker undertones.
